The Scenic Flight Company

AAA Charter Pty Ltd started operations in Kalgoorlie, WA in 1995. It operated as a general charter company, catering to Government Departments, tourists and the mining industry.

In 2005 the company was acquired by the Shearn Family, and relocated to the Northern Territory. We now provide scenic flights over Kakadu National Park from our Jabiru base as well as regular charter flights to West Arnhem Land, Darwin and Katherine among others.

Our fleet of planes currently consist of Cessna 210s and Cessna 206s, but we intend to expand in the future to offer greater flexibility of flights.

This family run business is fully licensed, fully insured and is approved by Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) who issue an Air Operators Certificate (AOC) to confirm our compliance.

Our operations are also fully approved by the Gundjehmi Aboriginal Corporation - the Traditional Owners of Jabiru, and Energy Resources Australia - the operator of the Ranger mine site and the Jabiru Airstrip.

We now have a base in Timber Creek, NT. Our Cessna 210 carries people &/or freight throughout the Victoria River region and beyond.
